Position: Production Officer

1. The Role — Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate daily production, assign tasks and monitor output.
2. Oversee processing, packaging and storage in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
3. Supervise production staff and enforce hygiene and safety standards.
4. Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the facility and equipment.
5. Check measurements, product quality, labels and batch codes.
6. Maintain accurate production, stock and wastage records.
7. Monitor equipment, report faults and coordinate maintenance.
8. Identify material shortages and resolve or escalate operational concerns.

2. Who We’re Looking For — Requirements

1. At least 2 years of relevant production experience, preferably in food processing.
2. Experience coordinating production activities and supervising or guiding staff.
3. Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food hygiene and sanitation.
4. Ability to maintain accurate measurements, stock control and production records.
5. Strong organisational skills, accountability and problem-solving ability.
6. Ability to work with minimal supervision and learn company processes.
7. Relevant educational or professional qualifications are an advantage.

3. Eligibility

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant production experience is mandatory.

The position is intended for experienced applicants capable of taking responsibility for day-to-day production activities and supporting the effective operation of LUTAM Farms’ processing facility.
