Procurement & Logistics Intern At Bridge for Women Development Initiative (BOWDI)

Bridge for Women Development Initiative (BOWDI) is a women-led, registered Non-Governmental, Non-Profit Organization with its head office located in Borno State, Nigeria. BOWDI has been active in Humanitarian and Development activities in the Northeast, especially in education, peace-building, advocacy, food security, livelihood, and protection.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Intern to support our supply chain and logistics operations.

Position Title: Procurement & Logistics Intern
Location: Maiduguri, Borno State
Duration: 6 Months (October 2025-March 2026)

Reports to: Procurement & Logistics Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process including sourcing, request for quotations, and bid analysis.
  • Help in ensuring proper documentation of procurement files.
  • Assist with inventory management, asset tracking, and stock reporting.
  • Support in Warehousing, goods receiving,
  • Support in coordinating transportation, delivery of goods, and distribution to project sites.
  • Provide administrative support during logistics operations, including filing and record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with BOWDI’s procurement policies and donor regulations.
  • Perform other procurement and logistics tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Must Have Finish NYSC.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  •  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under pressure.
  • Integrity, transparency, and commitment to accountability in all procurement processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
