Purpose of the job

The PPM Cluster coordinator will support the state program officer in collating, analyzing, and reviewing data from the engaged private health facilities. They will be responsible for technical oversight of the private health facilities as well as supporting these facilities to improve their TB case finding and documentation.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the engagement of private health facilities in supported states for TB case finding and management.
  • Support the linkage coordinators in the state to ensure oversight of the engaged private health facilities.
  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly data collection from the linkage coordinators and analysis of this data for onward transmission to the state program officer.
  • Monthly validation of data submitted by the linkage coordinators is necessary to ensure that submitted data is complete and correct.
  • Monthly or quarterly data harmonization with the local government supervisor to ensure that all PPM-related data in the state is captured by the TBLS.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of the MATS App for screening of clients for TB in private health care facilities.
  • Conduct any other task as may be assigned.

Job Specifications

Education:

  • HND, or Bachelor’s degree
  • A master’s degree will be an added advantage.

Knowledge/experience:

  • 1-2 years’ relevant work experience with development agencies and foundations
  • Experience in the TB program is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and good listener.
  • Exhibits a high level of accuracy in work and the ability to analyse complex sets of relationships and situations.
  • Have a high sense of integrity and transparency.
  • Ability to manage official information in a confidential manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
