The Gallant Empowered Nation is an organization established to address the challenges faced by young people by providing a platform for engagement, learning, and collaboration. It equips youths with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to become agents of change in their communities through dialogue, mentorship, and strategic engagement, helping them understand their potential, identify opportunities, and create actionable pathways for personal and national development.


Location: Lagos
Commitment: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with organizations, donors, schools, corporate bodies, government agencies, and community groups that support youth empowerment and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to support sustainable youth-centered programs and initiatives.
  • Support resource mobilization efforts, including grants, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions for youth programs.
  • Collaborate with program and outreach teams to design and implement partnership-driven youth initiatives such as mentorship programs, leadership trainings, school outreaches, and community projects.
  • Draft partnership proposals, concept notes, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and collaboration agreements.
  • Ensure partnerships align with the organization’s youth-focused mission, values, and safeguarding policies.
  • Monitor and document partnership outcomes, impact on young people, and lessons learned, and prepare reports for partners and management.
  • Facilitate effective communication between partners and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of joint activities.

Qualification & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, especially when working with young people and youth-serving organizations.
  • Ability to identify collaboration opportunities that create meaningful impact for youths.
  • Proposal writing and basic grant-development skills.
  • Passion for youth development, leadership, and social impact.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Understanding of youth development issues and the non-profit/NGO sector.
