The Role

  • As the office manager, you will oversee daily office operations, provide administrative & project support, coordinate facilities management, ensure effective communication and compliance with policies, as well as staff travel and logistics coordination.

Specific Responsibilities

Office Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Receive and attend to visitors and telephone calls.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to senior management and staff.
  • Prepare, process, and assemble correspondences and other materials in accordance with general instructions.
  • Handle scheduling, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Plan and coordinate office events and meetings.
  • Maintain filing system and files.

Facilities Management:

  • Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and conducive to productivity.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment and facilities.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords.

Policy and Procedures:

  • Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update office asset register.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Project Support:

  • Support and manage office-related projects and initiatives.
  • Track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Relevant degree with at least 5 years proven experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, or relevant role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel within Nigeria occasionally
