Context:
Working under the overall supervision of Yola Head of Office and the direct supervision of the finance & Admin Assistant in Yola Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of office cleaning and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Yola Office compound in general with specific emphasis to public areas and surroundings in accordance with the performance and quality level standards set by the Yola Sub-Office management.
In particular, the incumbent will:
III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned office, accommodation premises and common areas in the compound in accordance with the housekeeping service quality requirements of the Yola Sub-Office management. Cleaning tasks include but not limited to mopping of floors, dusting, polishing of floors, window washing, vacuuming and garbage.
  2. Maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials, toiletries and other consumables as required. Check stock levels of consumables and re-stock the toiletries and cleaning supplies as required.
  3. Be responsible for the maintenance of the surrounding garden area; including landscaping, watering, fertilizing and maintenance of shrubs and trees as and when required.
  4. Inspect status/conditions of plumbing and electrical installations and furniture pieces in the assigned rooms or common areas and report any observed concerns or damages to the supervisors.
  5. Observe precautions required to protect Offices and Office properties, and promptly report damages, theft, and found articles or items to the supervisors.
  6. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and observe the standard operating procedures as established by the Yola Sub-Office.
  7. Perform any other duties as may be required by supervisors.

    IV. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    EDUCATION
    • Secondary School Education or Diploma in any fields (Minimum Requirement) • Any additional Certificate in relevant field will be an added advantage .
    EXPERIENCE
    • Professional experience maintaining a clean and sanitary environment,
    • Experience in the usage of variety of cleaning products and tools,
    • Experience in health and safety regulations
    • personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility and drive for results;
    V. LANGUAGES
    Required (specify the required knowledge) Advantageous
    English (Fluent) Fluency in Multiple Native Languages – especially in Hausa and Fulani
