Nigeria Client Database Management Coordinator at One Acre Fund

One Acre, founded in 2006, supplies smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms more productive. We provide quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural trainings to improve harvests. We measure our success by our ability to make farmers more prosperous: On average, farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund. We serve more than 800,000 farm families in Eastern and Southern Africa, with more than 7,500 full-time staff, and we aim to serve 1 million farm families by 2020.

About the Role

  • Seeking a data management pro with 1-2 years experience in databases, data warehousing and SQL to oversee client data ensure date integrity with out core operations team and enhance efficiency for Business Operations.

Responsibilities
Data Management:

  • Oversee full client data lifecycles from enrollment to repayment.
  • Maintain precise and updated client databases.
  • Fulfill data analysis requests from partner departments to inform strategic decision-making and external needs.

Team & Communication Management:

  • Directly manage 3–4 CDM Data Officers and supervise temporary data entry casuals during peak operational periods.
  • Represent the CDM sub-department in meetings when assigned or when the manager is unavailable.
  • Facilitate training for Field Officers on One Acre Fund (OAF) productivity tools and applications.

Operational Management:

  • Evaluate and implement process/system improvements for managing client repayments and resolving repayment issues.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations between bank records and client databases.
  • Provide support during operational audits.

Customer Service & SLA Management:

  • Set achievable performance targets and drive process improvements.
  • Maintain a 100% Service Level Agreement (SLA) standard throughout the year

Qualifications

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Expert skills in Excel and Google Sheets to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Work Planning & Organization: Strong ability to multitask, delegate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with high accuracy.
  • Leadership & People Management: Experience managing teams, resolving conflicts, and coaching/engaging field staff.
  • Technical & Domain Knowledge: Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), with a strong understanding of organizational policies and an accounting or bookkeeping background.
  • Growth Mindset: High willingness to learn and adapt.
