El-Kanemi Memorial Foundation (EMF) is a non-governmental and non-profit Humanitarian organization established in 2017 with registration number RC 144331. Our prime Motto is: Impacting lives through the healing power of culture. EMF actions are based on the values of solidarity, justice, peace, human dignity, equal rights and opportunities for all people and respect for diversity and coexistence, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable segments of the population. Women and children are sole beneficiaries of our intervention.
EMF area of focus is Education, Gender Based Violence, Child Protection, Capacity Development and Early Recovery programme. EMF is working closely with the support of 447 traditional rulers across Borno State. EMF has been able to impact the lives of over 50,996 people in Borno from inception through its intervention on Education awareness and sensitization, Psychosocial Support, GBV sensitization and Engaging Men through Accountable Practice. EMF has also built the administrative capacity of 430 CSOs through its Capacity Development Programme in Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Kano, Kaduna and Abuja.
Job Title: Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures
• Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the integrated activities of EMF project output;
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results;
• Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results;
• Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system
• Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project;
• Recommend further improvement of the logical framework;
• Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success;
• Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to Project Management Team
• Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports;
• Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities;
• Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks;
• Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities.

• Perform other duties as required;
Requirements / Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation with NGO/INGO
• Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports;
• Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software;
• Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software;
• Strong training & facilitation skills.
• Ability to multitask
• In-depth knowledge on MIS, M&E and development issues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to respond positively to critical feedback and different points of view
Language Skills:
Fluency in English is necessary while Multilingualism of (Kanuri, Hausa, Shuwa) is an added advantage
