MEAL Officer

Qualification: BA/BSc in Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or related field

Job Summary
The MEAL Officer will oversee monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning processes for projects to ensure quality, compliance, and data-driven decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, plans, and tools
- Conduct field monitoring and supportive supervision visits
- Collect, validate, and analyze data to produce timely reports
- Coordinate baseline, midline, and endline assessments
- Support capacity building of staff and volunteers on MEAL practices
- Ensure integration of feedback and accountability mechanisms in programming
- Support documentation of lessons learned and best practices
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding and ethical standards
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of MEAL concepts and methodologies
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and data management software
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work in field and office settings
