Qualification: BA/BSc in Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or related field
Experience: 3–5 years

Job Summary

The MEAL Officer will oversee monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning processes for projects to ensure quality, compliance, and data-driven decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, plans, and tools
  • Conduct field monitoring and supportive supervision visits
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data to produce timely reports
  • Coordinate baseline, midline, and endline assessments
  • Support capacity building of staff and volunteers on MEAL practices
  • Ensure integration of feedback and accountability mechanisms in programming
  • Support documentation of lessons learned and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding and ethical standards

Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of MEAL concepts and methodologies
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and data management software
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in field and office settings
