About the Role
- We are seeking a passionate, mission-driven, and highly skilled Junior Class Mathematics Tutor to support underserved students in building a strong foundation in Mathematics and achieving excellent academic outcomes.
- This role is ideal for an educator who has successfully helped students with low or average performance — including those with little interest in Mathematics — develop confidence, understanding, and strong results in the subject.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and update Mathematics curriculum as needed
- Support students with homework, projects, test preparation, and revision.
- Help students understand key mathematical concepts taught in class
- Teach effective study strategies, note-taking skills, and test-taking techniques
- Develop and distribute teaching materials such as worksheets and study guides
- Conduct quizzes, tests, and assessments to track progress and identify learning gaps
- Provide consistent, positive, and constructive feedback to students
- Report students’ progress and challenges to Management
- Prepare students for academic competitions and external opportunities
- Use technology and audio-visual tools to enhance learning and understanding
Key Requirements
- Minimum of A grade in Mathematics at both Junior WAEC and Senior WAEC levels
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics to junior secondary school students
- Demonstrated success in helping low and average-performing students achieve strong results
- Experience working with students in underserved or low-resource communities
- Strong teaching and classroom engagement skills
- Ability to use computers and basic educational technology to support instruction
