ECEWS is implementing a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded project aimed at Delivering Comprehensive and Sustainable HIV/AIDS Clinical and Community Services to achieve HIV epidemic control in sub-National units of Delta, Osun and Ekiti States in Nigeria under PEPFAR and the Accelerating Control for HIV Epidemic Project (ACE) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Akwa Ibom & Cross River States targeted at achieving epidemic control thereby reducing transmission and improving the quality of life of those living with HIV.

Job Description

  • S/He will provide support to end-users, internal users, or partners. Serves as the first line of support for the end user on issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, network connectivity and remote access. 
  • Simulates or recreates a process to resolve operating difficulties and may interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. 
  • He /She works with the IT Manager, to coordinate support, project delivery, upgrades and routine tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Recruitment Standard

  • 3-5 years of experience providing end-user phone support for current PC desktop and application software OR installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a network environment.
  • BS/BA degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent with at least 2 years post National Youth Service relevant experience.
  • High School diploma with an Associate’s degree preferred, or the international equivalent.
  • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO). Equivalent combination of education and experience.
