MEBS Global provides a variety of in-country support and local assistance as well as cargo transportation and logistics management services with primary focus in emerging markets and conflict, post conflict environments in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. MEBS Global maintains 12 offices in 11 countries including 2 offices in Nigeria.

MEBS Global has been awarded the Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) service provider contract for the Malaria Component of the Global Fund Grant Cycle 7 (GC7) on behalf of the Government of Nigeria (GoN), building on previous efforts to enhance its visibility and involvement in warehousing and distribution operations. MEBS is expected to manage the warehousing and distribution of malaria commodities in the 13 Global Fund supported states.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Advisor – ERP System

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • The IT Advisor – ERP System is responsible for supporting the deployment, and operations of the ERP system, analysing data, reporting and providing user support for the systems deployed for the Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) service provider contract for the Malaria Component of the Global Fund Grant Cycle 7 (GC7).
  • This position requires a strong technical expertise, and experience using ERP systems. The IT Advisor – ERP System shall report directly to the Senior Manager MIS/ERP/IT.

Specific Responsibilities
ERP System Operations:

  • Support the Senior Manager MIS/ERP/IT in data management and integration across systems within project network to improve data visibility whilst ensuring seamless integration and inter-operability with other already existing software/IT/MIS solutions.
  • Support the set-up and configuration of the ERP system for warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Support the generation and consolidation of orders/shipments on the ERP at every Distribution Cycle
  • Manage the review of orders, Duplicated orders, reverting of orders to provisional status.
  • Monitor and track shipments status during distribution cycles.

Data Management:

  • Support the management of Master Datasets across the project ERP and other systems.
  • Work with the MIS Team to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of organizational data.
  • Develop and generate regular reports for management, providing insights into key performance indicators and trends.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to extract valuable insights for decision-making.

ERP User Support:

  • Provide training to end-users, ensuring effective use of information systems.
  • Provide technical support to the Project Team on the warehousing and distribution operations on the ERP.
  • Address and resolve ERP related issues in a timely manner.

Evaluation Method

  • Annual performance appraisals
  • Quarterly documented feedback and mentoring discussions
  • Quarterly score card of work plan tasks and achievements § Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field. A master degree in related field is a plus.
  • 3 years for BSc Degree graduate, and 1 year for MSc Degree in relevant role.
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and information management
  • Proficient in Microsoft windows, and software including ERP, server, office, etc.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Flexible working hours
  • Relevant professional certification is required.
  • The ideal person should be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of multilateral agency guidelines.
  • Excellent ability to function in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Experience working with donor funded programs is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Interpersonal Competencies:

  • Ability to work with other team members, flexibility, decisiveness and personal integrity

Language:

  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
