DKT INTERNATIONAL is a social marketing organization whose core mission is the provision of safe and affordable options for family planning and HIV prevention. DKT INTERNATIONAL is one of the largest private providers of family planning and reproductive health products and services in the developing world.

DKT NIGERIA is set to recruit a Human Resources/Executive Officer. This position is based in Lagos and reports to the Manager, Human Resources and Corporate Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, confirmation; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time
  • Orient new employees by providing orientation information packages
  • Document human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Assist with the performance review and termination processes
  • Assist with the recruitment and interview processes
  • Assist with collating training needs for staff and scheduling trainings
  • Work with HR Manager to perform any other HR administrative tasks as needed

Executive Office

  • Ensure the highest level of discretion in providing a comprehensive range of executive assistant support
  • Point of contact for internal and external clients on Country Director’s activities and events, independently handle sensitive communication/information flow. Effectively manage calendar including scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Organizing and managing the flow of work in and out of the Country Director’s office. This includes the organization of daily correspondence (internal and external); management of information flow in and out of the Country Director’s office; compiling and filing reports; follow-up on various items on Country Director’s behalf
  • Organizing/coordinating Country Director’s travel, both domestically and internationally
  • Compile Country Director’s expense reports
  • Other Administrative Duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 2- 3 years work experience as an HR Administrative assistant or relevant role
  • Proven effective support of Chief Executive Officer or Director level position
  • Bachelors degree in Administration or related field
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research
  • Outstanding skills in organizing, prioritizing, scheduling, planning and coordinating work.
  • Essential problem-solving skills and initiative
  • A proven track record in managing confidentiality, proven personal ethics and integrity
  • Proven ability to create and work in a team-oriented multi-cultural environment
  • Agility, positivity and maturity
