HR Assistant 2

Under the Supervision of the Recruiter, the HR Assistant 2 supports in the recruitment process of new employees by attracting and employing the best suitable candidates for ICRCs operations throughout Nigeria and gives support to HR Administration in smooth running of operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment (80%)

  • Manages the recruitment briefings for all new colleagues
  • Verification of document with external stakeholder (NYSC and previous employer)
  • Pre-screens all applications received for vacant roles against the selection criteria
  • Supports in managing the ICRCs presence in the media space in terms of employability
  • Supports the Recruiter in sending vacancy notification to various job sites
  • Ensures that all the job sites advertise ICRC roles in the right format with right information, 
  • Monitors online ICRCs vacancies and general comments about the vacancies and keeps track of advert end date on all job site and ensures that the vacancy is pulled down Handles Feedbacks to Internal candidates in all stages of the recruitment processes
  • Supports the Recruiter in generating information / statistics needed to improve recruitment processes
  • Supports in conducting various recruitment processes

HR Administration (20%)

  • Assists in preparing employment contract and other official correspondence as per standard templates.
  • Production of staff Identification cards.
  • Ensures the confidentiality of the personnel files and ensures filing and archiving of files

Supports in the follow-up of the vacation balance of all staff members in Nigeria.

Education and Experience Required

  • University degree in HR, Administration or a relevant field
  • 3-4 years’ work experience in the HR field.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.  •    Good knowledge of Nigerian Labor Act
  • Computer proficiency.
