Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) with No CAC/IT/NO/139393 in accordance with the Nigerian Law in 2019. The organization was established with the sole aim and objective to promote social service through community development projects that ensure meaningful access to services for people in need. The organization also aims to build the Resilience of vulnerable populations, especially women and children to create a safe space for them to feel safe, and free from all forms of harm. We aim to reduce illiteracy through various education programs to ensure children are supported to go to school remain in school and become good citizens.
Position HR/Admin officer

Job Summary:
The Officer will be responsible with recruitment of staffs, managing staff affairs, leave tracking and updating staff information and also work alongside program manager in renewal and exist processes for organization.
Duties and Responsibility
- The Human Resource Officer leads the effective and efficient management of Human Resource operations by ensuring high standards with a focus on recruitment, staff induction, staff welfare, information management (both hard and soft copy), performance management and Volunteer management.
- The HR Officer will be responsible for documentation, training and re-training of staffs, volunteers on FRAD policies and processes.
- The HR Officer will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely information sharing on employee-related concerns, updating of staff information on electronic and physical files.
- HR Officer plays a key role in the updating of human resource information on the HRI, will be responsible for providing support as may be required to line managers on performance management processes. The post holder will lead on refresher training on HR policies and procedures as required.
- HR Officer will work with the Program Manager on staff contract renewal and exit processes.
- The HR Officer will ensure that consultants’ information and data is maintained to organizational and statutory standards. He/she will ensure that complaints are resolved quickly liaising closely with the Program Manager.
The HR Officer will ensure that effective support is provided to the HR and other team members as may be required working closely with the Operations team members.
Requirement:
- a degree in Administration, HR, Social Science or relevant field
Experience and technical competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience on Human Resource.
- Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Officer suite including Word and Excel.
- You are required to be knowledgeable in managing databases, producing reports and good with figures
- You must be committed to the ethics and code of conduct of the HR profession and familiar with the Core Humanitarian Standards.
- You must understand data protection and the need for confidentiality. You must have strong written and oral communication skills; the ability to explain and visualize complex issues to expert and non-expert audiences; and excellent presentation skills.
- You must be a good team player able to organize and prioritize workload.
- You must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, including the ability to build relationships with colleagues at long distances.
Desirable skills:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word, Excel Power points
- Proven success in designing, implementing, and operating all procurement plan for all the project in organization initiation to close out
- Experience in planning and managing all logistic aspect of the organization
- Communication skills (English, Hausa and Kanuri is added advantage)
