Loochi LEAD Centre is a membership-based NGO Microfinance Institution duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration number CAC/IT/NO 145765 We are registered as an Affiliate Member with the Association of Non- Bank Microfinance Institution of Nigeria (ANMFIN) under the state category in accordance with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) revised Microfinance Policy with affiliation No. 04/02/0069 and certificate No. 865. We are also an official member of the Nigeria Network of Non-Governmental Organisations (NNNGO).

Job Dscription

  • Evaluating and reviewing client’s credit proposal for approval or rejection based on credibility, potential revenue, and losses to maintain a good balance between returns and risk exposures.
  • Preparation of Credit Appraisal Memorandum (CAM) for Management and Board consideration and Approval
  • Conducting credit search from an approved Credit Bureau for facilities.
  • Booking of loans in line with approved terms and conditions.
  • Proper documentation and updating of the loan files.
  • Follow up and monitoring of disbursed loans to ensure a timely repayment.
  • Recovery of delinquent loans and advances.
  • New products development and review of existing ones.
  • Develop, review and update the bank’s credit policies.
  • Organize in house training for the staff
  • Render timely reports to regulatory bodies when required
  • Preparing weekly and monthly Portfolio AT Risk (PAR) with a summary of loan loss provision
  • Analyze and review large data for correctness and daily reports submission.
  • Schedule calls to customers for due loans/repayment
  • Build the company’s profile and brand image in the market through sustained campaigns.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with key customers in relevant market segments.
  • Lead the Bank’s deposit mobilization efforts and ensure quality risks assets are created.
  • Champion periodic planning and budget review sessions.
  • Monitor implementation and performance and ensure the development of effective strategies to address the shortfall in targets.
  • Champion the drive to increase the Bank’s market share by promoting and institutionalizing a customer service-oriented culture.
  • Monitor changing market dynamics and adapt product offerings to effectively meet these needs.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the President.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of micro and macro-economic indices and their impact on small businesses.
  • Strong people management, mentoring, and leadership skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Masters, Microfinance Certification is an added advantage.
  • The ability to use sysbanker banking software is an advantage.
  • Ideal candidates should be goal-oriented, smart, intelligent, creative, and hardworking.
