Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Agribusiness and Consulting, you will:
- Develop & Execute Business Strategy:Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Drive Financial Performance:Oversee profitability and growth across strategic business units.
- Foster Strategic Partnerships:Build and leverage a strong network of industry stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Optimize Operations:Implement lean, efficient processes that maximize value and productivity.
- Lead & Mentor Teams:Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to drive excellence.
- Manage Key Projects:Ensure successful execution of divisional projects—on time, within budget, and with measurable impact.
- Identify Market Opportunities:Spot trends, innovate, and expand the company’s agribusiness footprint.
- Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with other department heads to ensure seamless operations.
Who We’re Looking For
- Advanced Degree (PhD/MSc) in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, or related field(B.Sc required as a minimum).
- 7+ years in Operations Management, Business Development, or Agribusiness Leadership.
- Certification or experience in Agronomy/Animal Husbandryis a strong advantage.
- Outstanding leadership abilities.
- Data analytics and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.
- Demonstrable analytical thinking and decision making
- Must be detail oriented.
