Job Title: Head, Finance and Risk Management
Location: Abuja
Role Description
- We are looking for a full-time Head of Finance and Risk.
- This role is based in Abuja and is on-site.
- The Head of Finance and Risk will be responsible for not only ensuring the company’s financial viability but also assessing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- The role requires clear communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CFA are required
- At least 5-10 years of experience in financial analysis, treasury management, and risk management
- Experience in microfinance banking, deposit mobilization and disbursement and knowledge of CBN rules and regulations will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team of finance professionals
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
