The Grants Proposal Specialist , in support of the CEO, conducts an active search for fundingandidentifies new donors. They carry out donor mapping and intelligence gathering. Donor and funding priorities.
The Grants Proposal Specialist supports the organization in seeking funding anddonoropportunities.
They ensure that interventions are aligned with the thematic and operational priorities of
the donors, and that the submissions respect the formats required by the latter. Production of concepts notes and project proposals.
To obtain funding, the Grants Proposal Specialist is responsible for submitting concept notesand project proposals within the deadlines imposed by the donors.
They ensure the writing of project documents to respond to opportunities with donors.
They guarantee the quality and conformity of the documents produced. Disseminates key information on donor procedures, funding contracts and supports ProjectCoordinators in monitoring contractual requirements.
The Grants Proposal Specialist is responsible for updating the coordination teamondonorguidelines.
They continually inform the teams of the evolution of donor procedures and requirements.
The Grants Proposal Specialist supports the Project Coordinators in monitoringthecontractual requirements of donors.
The Grants Proposal Specialist monitors operational developments, including budgetary, topropose contractual modifications if necessary.
Ensures the production of accurate and analytical narrative reports within the defined deadlines.
The Grants Proposal Specialist is responsible for preparing interim and final reports fordonors, according to the reporting formats and rules imposed.
They are directly responsible for drafting documents, based on precise, quantitative, andqualitative information, and capitalized on during the year.
They establish regular liaison with the coordinators and project managers and, for thepreparation of reports, make the link between the commitments with the donor andthereality of the projects and the land.
They ensure compliance with deadlines and are responsible for the quality of reports.
The Grants Manager is responsible for monitoring financing contracts with donors. Experience and Skills Excellent track record of successes in grants awards.
Higher education degree (Master’s level or equivalent) related to the position (development
studies, public health, international relations, project management, etc..
Excellent writing skills. Excellent knowledge of funding and donor database.
Good command of project management tools (project cycle, logical framework, project
proposal, reporting, etc.
Excellent skills in building partnerships with NGOs/INGOs. Ability to meet agreed deadlines. Method of application
