Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grant and Stakeholder Manager to join our team.
  • You will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, preparing grant applications, and managing relationships with funders and stakeholders to support the financial sustainability of our initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with our mission and projects.
  • Prepare and submit compelling grant applications, including writing proposals, budgets, and reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors, stakeholders, and funding bodies.
  • Monitor and report on the status of grants, including compliance with grant conditions and progress towards objectives.
  • Collaborate with our program teams to ensure alignment between project goals and funding opportunities.
  • Represent Inspire Her Afrika at relevant meetings, workshops, and fundraising events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • 1+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated success in managing donor relationships and understanding of the philanthropic landscape.
  • Passion for Inspire Her Afrika’s mission and commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
