Position: Grant and Partnership Intern

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Grant Proposal Development
- Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing grant proposals to ensure alignment with donor guidelines and objectives.
- Collaborate with program teams to gather relevant data and input for proposal submissions.
2. Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintain organized records of all grant proposals, contracts, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure documentation is easily accessible and compliant with organizational and donor requirements.
3. Partner Communication
- Facilitate communication with partners, including updates, coordinating meetings, and addressing inquiries.
- Ensure timely responses to partners regarding project implementation and reporting.
4. Capacity Building Support
- Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops to strengthen partners’ capacities.
- Provide technical support to partners to meet grant requirements and enhance performance.
5. Financial Report Review
- Support the review and analysis of financial reports submitted by partners, ensuring compliance with budgets and grant agreements.
- Assist in tracking grant spending and preparing financial summaries for management.
6. Monitoring Partner Progress
- Track partners’ progress against project goals and grant timelines.
- Prepare progress reports based on data collected from partners.
7. Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to donor regulations, including financial management, reporting, and procurement standards.
- Conduct spot checks and review documentation to verify compliance with grant agreements.
8. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from partner reports and monitoring activities.
- Support the preparation of narrative and financial reports for internal and donor submission.
9. Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing events.
- Assist with logistics for donor visits, partner meetings, and related activities.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or any related social science field.
- Age: Maximum of 26 years.
- Graduation Period: Must have graduated within the last 2 years.
- Eligibility: National Youth Corps members are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Less than 2 years of experience in a related field

Stipend
This is an internship position, and the selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend for this role.
