The Integrated Women and Youth Empowerment Centre (IWAYEC) is a non-governmental, nonprofit, non-religious, and non-political organization dedicated to the holistic empowerment of women, youths, orphans, and vulnerable children. Our mission is to create sustainable impact through programs that uplift the lives of our target groups. We focus on building capacity, providing trauma healing, and offering rehabilitation and training in diverse skills, enabling our beneficiaries to actively contribute to national development programs. GBV Program Officer (Volunteer)
Role:
Lead efforts to prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV) within our communities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement GBV prevention and response programs.
Provide support and counseling to survivors of GBV.
Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to strengthen GBV response mechanisms.
Qualifications:
Background in social work, psychology, gender studies, or related fields.
Experience in GBV program management and survivor support.
