Role Overview
- We’re seeking a creative, target-driven Fundraising Officer to lead resource mobilization across grants, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, and digital giving.
- You’ll craft winning proposals, nurture donor relationships, and run compelling campaigns that power SILF’s impact nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute annual/quarterly fundraising strategies with clear targets and KPIs.
- Source and qualify opportunities (local/international donors, foundations, CSR, INGOs, multilaterals).
- Write high-quality proposals (EOIs, concept notes, full applications) and produce timely donor reports.
- Build and maintain donor stewardship: pipelines, cultivation plans, CRM tracking, and feedback loops.
- Lead digital fundraising: campaigns, appeals, peer-to-peer drives, and social media activations.
- Develop corporate partnerships (cause marketing, sponsorships, payroll giving, events).
- Coordinate fundraising events/charity drives, budgets, and post-event reporting.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, branding, safeguarding, and financial accountability.
- Produce monthly/quarterly performance reports (pipeline status, conversion rates, ROI).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Business / Admin, Marketing /Comms, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- 1–3+ years in fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, or partnerships (NGO/INGO experience preferred).
- Proven wins across grants/corporates/individual giving (please highlight in CV/cover letter).
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills; strong stakeholder management and negotiation.
- Comfortable with metrics, pipelines, deadlines, and working cross-functionally with Programs/Finance/M&E.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/fundraising tools are an added advantage.
