General Objective
AHAI seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to lead financial management, planning, and reporting, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
– Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and compliance
– Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and donor reporting
– Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
– Manage cash flow, treasury, and risk management
– Lead audit preparations and ensure compliance with regulations
– Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management
– Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
– Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and compliance
– Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and donor reporting
– Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
– Manage cash flow, treasury, and risk management
– Lead audit preparations and ensure compliance with regulations
– Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management
– Supervise finance team and build capacity
– Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and laws
– Manage grant management and financial tracking
– Oversee procurement and asset management
– Identify and mitigate financial risks
– Collaborate with program teams on budget planning and financial monitoring
Requirements- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
– 5-7 years of financial management experience
– Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CCF, etc.)
– Strong knowledge of financial regulations and donor requirements
– Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Desired Skills- Experience in NGO or humanitarian sector
– Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations
– Proficiency in financial software and systems
