DUTIES
- Buying and rearing young fish.
- Day to day management Of chickens, handling Of layers and egg production
- Experienced in raising/managing day old chicks.
- Planting, transplanting, weeding, watering and caring for plants in a greenhouse and irrigation system.
- Reporting fish care issues and conducting research related to plant growth and cultivation methods to improve current practices.
- Planting new plants, seeds, bulbs, or other items in pots or trays, often using specialized tools such as pruning shears or
- Sprayers for hydroponics and greenhouse.perform duties such as feeding, vaccinating poultry, cleaning and disinfecting/fumigating chicken houses.
- Managing water quality by using ultraviolet light purification method.
- Maintaining the farm activities in agreement with the bud- geted parameters
- Strict compliance to farrns standards and policies e.g. health, safety, product quality, property and asset management and environment.
QUALIFICATION
- B.Sc/HND in Agricultural Science
- Extension, Agronomy, Animal Science/production or any of the Biological Sciences.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Of 1-3 years farm experience.
- Experience in feed formulation and poultry processing is an added advantage.
