Founded in 1973, Ipas is a global nongovernmental organization dedicated to ending preventable deaths and disabilities from unsafe abortion. Through local, national and global partnerships, Ipas works to ensure that women can obtain safe, respectful and comprehensive abortion care, including counseling and contraception to prevent future unintended pregnancies. At Ipas, we believe that: Every woman has a right to safe reproductive health choices, including safe abortion care. No woman should have to risk her life, her health, her fertility, her well-being or the well-being of her family because she lacks reproductive health care. Women everywhere must have the opportunity to determine their futures, care for their families and manage their fertility. Along with caring, committed health professionals and other colleagues worldwide, Ipas tackles this neglected public health problem head on in some of the world’s poorest countries. While many international donors and governments have focused attention and resources elsewhere, we struggle against the fundamental social injustice that results in the deaths of so many women in the prime of their lives.

Ipas is a global non-profit organization that works worldwide to eliminate deaths and complications from unsafe abortion and increase women’s ability to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights. Ipas’s work is grounded in the belief that women everywhere must have the opportunity to determine their futures, care for their families and manage their fertility.

Ipas is currently inviting interested and competent suppliers that are willing to be prequalified for the supply of goods and services.

Categories of goods and services are:

  1. Printing
  2. Supply of general stationery
  3. Vehicle repair and maintenance service
  4. Car rental services
  5. Computer equipment
  6. Travel agency
  7. Office Maintenance Services (Plumbing, Cleaning Services, Electrical repairs, etc.)
  8. Office furniture and equipment

Mode of Submission:

  • Applicants must submit adequate information (i.e. Company name, physical location, email address, telephone number, contact person, business registration documents, etc
  • Applicants should indicate their capacity of supplying goods or services in the categories of their choice. The information should include a past performance of similar assignments undertaken and include a contact person for reference.
  • Shortlisted suppliers in the respective categories will be requested to submit quotations as and when specific needs arise. Thereafter contracts will be issued on a competitive basis.
  • Interested suppliers have to submit their applications to the undersigned no later than 16th May 2022 by 5.30 pm.
  • Applicants must indicate clearly on the subject of the email the category of goods or the services that the company is interested in  (e.g. Supply of general stationery ).
