About the job

  • The Lagos Food Bank Initiative is seeking an experienced Inventory/Warehouse Officer to oversee stock management, streamline warehouse operations, and ensure timely and accurate distribution of food supplies to meet our program needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of food items and supplies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
  • Ensure proper storage conditions in line with food safety standards
  • Supervise warehouse staff and volunteers where necessary
  • Prepare inventory reports and provide insights for operational planning
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Inventory/ Warehouse Officer (minimum 2–3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
  • Must reside within close proximity to the warehouse
