- The Lagos Food Bank Initiative is seeking an experienced Inventory/Warehouse Officer to oversee stock management, streamline warehouse operations, and ensure timely and accurate distribution of food supplies to meet our program needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of food items and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
- Ensure proper storage conditions in line with food safety standards
- Supervise warehouse staff and volunteers where necessary
- Prepare inventory reports and provide insights for operational planning
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Inventory/ Warehouse Officer (minimum 2–3 years)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
- Must reside within close proximity to the warehouse
