Role Summary
- The Driver will provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for AYGF staff.
- The role ensures proper vehicle maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with organizational transport policies
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff, partners, and authorized personnel to designated locations.
- Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off in accordance with official schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicle(s).
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, etc.) and promptly report faults.
- Ensure timely servicing, repairs, insurance, and renewal of vehicle documentation.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and fuel consumption records.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and AYGF transport policies.
- Support administrative and logistics-related errands as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience, preferably within an NGO or corporate environment.
- Good knowledge of Abuja roads and surrounding areas.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
- Must reside in Kubwa, Abuja.
