We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Collector

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Enugu, Gombe, Kebbi, Oyo & Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Overview

  • This position is for a short-term project. The Data Collectors will attend trainings, collect, and upload data related to the exercise via the selected data collection tools.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and collate qualitative data via the approved data collection tools.
  • Timely and meaningfully support information flow from the field to the State Research Lead.
  • Adhere to all data collection protocols during data collection activities.
  • Attend and participate in project-related trainings and workshops.
  • Available for the entire duration of the project activities and willing to travel to select LGAs as required.
  • Maintain cordial public relations with local stakeholders including government officials, facility staff, clients, and community members through observing meaningful and respectful engagement during fieldwork.
  • Must score 80% or higher in post-training assessment, to participate in fieldwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of B.Sc. in Biological Science or Social Science background from a recognized university. University post-graduate students are at advantage.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience.
  • Familiarity with the selected work location.
  • Fluent in the local language.
  • Previous experience in carrying out qualitative data collection with relevant experience with electronic and mobile data capturing tools (ODK, KoboCollect, CSPro, Survey CTO).
  • Attend full training for Data Collectors and pass post-training assessment.
  • Individuals must score 80% or higher in the post-test to participate in fieldwork.
  • Available for the entire duration of the project activities and willing to travel to select LGAs as required.
  • Ability to comply with the estimated project timelines.
