Country HR Officer at Care First Community Initiative (CFCI)

Care First Community Initiative (CFCI) is a Nigerian NGO advancing human rights, social welfare, and livelihoods for vulnerable groups through Food Security, Research, Livelihoods, Education, Shelter/CCCM/NFI, Warehousing & Logistics, Nutrition, Health, Protection/Access to Justice, Advocacy/Information, and WASH.

Location Borno

Reports to: Executive Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment of warehouse and logistics staff
  • Manage personnel files and ensure HR compliance
  • Support performance appraisal processes and staff welfare
  • Coordinate HR-related trainings for warehouse staff
  • Handle staff grievances and disciplinary matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years\’ experience in HR, preferably in NGO or humanitarian settings
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
