Job Title: Coordinator, ICT

Responsibilities
The Coordinator ICT has the following responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Oversee and champion the articulation and development of the ICT department’s strategy and ensure alignment with NRCS strategy, goals and objectives
- Demonstrate ownership and communicate the ICT department’s strategic direction and objectives to direct reports ensuring dissemination to all staff in the department
- Provide broad guidelines for translating the department’s objectives into specific operational plans, approve and coordinate the execution of departmental plans and work programs
Operational
Governance:
- Develop ICT policies and ensure compliance by all subsidiaries which are critical to the integrity, security and performance of NRCS technical infrastructure
- Oversee the effective management of ICT assets and ensure provision of adequate ICT infrastructure to end-users
- Provide guidance in the handling of subsidiary ICT functions and oversee subsidiary ICT performance
- Facilitate the achievement of ICT synergies within the Group and provide guidance on all ICT projects across NRCS
- Identify and manage relationships with service providers and ensure consistent adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Provide broad guidelines for the development and implementation of data management/ warehousing strategies to ensure the integrity and security of NRCS data and proper use of IT infrastructure
- Oversee the development and implementation of systems and mechanisms to ensure continuous protection of ICT infrastructure
- Directly oversee procurement of relevant ICT equipment
- Keep abreast of recent ICT trends and developments, and their relevance/ application across NRCS.
