Job Title: Consumer Experience and Ecosystem Manager — West Africa

Location: Lagos
Travel: up to 30% within region
Reports to: Nigeria Business Lead (technical reporting to Africa Regional CX Lead)

Description

  • We’re hiring — West Africa Consumer Experience and Ecosystem Manager — West Africa
  • Nigeria is Viya Health’s newest and most complex market launch to date, a huge, young, mobile-first population; a fast-growing e-commerce and fintech landscape; and real diversity of geography, language, and culture across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and beyond. We need someone who can walk into that complexity and build a consumer experience that actually works for a Lagos professional ordering discreetly on WhatsApp, for a Kano consumer on a data-light connection, for a first-time buyer who’s never trusted a health brand before.
  • We’re looking for a Consumer Experience and Ecosystem Manager to lead that build from the ground up, a hands-on executor and strategic thinker who can turn global and regional frameworks into grounded local execution, and who’s ready to grow into broader regional leadership as VIYA scales across West Africa.

What You’ll Own

  • Consumer Experience Strategy & Omnichannel Execution: Localise and implement VIYA’s CX strategy for Nigeria at launch, owning the omnichannel ecosystem map across digital (app, e-commerce, WhatsApp Business, social, email, CRM) and physical (in-clinic, pharmacy, community health worker, partner, distributor) touchpoints, including cash-on-delivery vs. digital payment paths and last-mile delivery realities.
  • Digital Ecosystem Implementation & Optimisation: Run the day-to-day of VIYA’s omnichannel digital ecosystem, content & communities, app, e-commerce (WordPress + WooCommerce), CRM, WhatsApp Business API, website, and social, including low-bandwidth, data-light experiences for cost-conscious consumers.
  • Digital Marketing & Campaign Management: Plan and execute campaigns that build awareness, demand, and conversion, optimising against CPA, ROAS, NPS, and CSAT, with a data-driven test-and-learn approach.
  • Content, Community & Brand Experience: Build VIYA’s consumer community in Nigeria from the ground up, with content and messaging localised for Yoruba-, Igbo-, Hausa-, and Pidgin-speaking audiences, without compromising brand integrity.
  • Consumer Insights & Performance: Build Nigeria’s consumer insights capability from launch, synthesising app, e-commerce, community, in-clinic, and market research data into KPIs and dashboards that inform local and regional decisions.
  • Regulatory Coordination: Work with VIYA’s regulatory and quality-of-care teams to ensure the consumer experience meets NAFDAC and ARCON requirements for health-related advertising and consumer promotion.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth: Evaluate and help manage distribution partnerships (e.g. mPharma, Jumia Nigeria) and Nigeria’s creator economy to extend reach, support donor-funded digital health projects where applicable.
  • Cross-functional & Budget Leadership: Operate in a matrixed structure across commercial, clinical, regulatory, and technology teams, own the Nigeria CX and ecosystem budget with a clear ROI lens, lead the Nigeria and West Africa digital team.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
  • 5+ years in digital marketing, consumer experience, or a related discipline, ideally in a consumer-facing, women’s health, or digital health environment.
  • Real, demonstrable experience in the Nigerian market, with a strong grasp of local consumer behaviour, mobile money and USSD adoption, WhatsApp and social commerce, and cultural and linguistic nuance across geographies.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO platforms, WordPress, WooCommerce, WhatsApp Business API, and other CMS/CRM tools.
  • Proven campaign execution skills, audience segmentation, A/B testing, performance analysis and a track record in content strategy and storytelling across diverse Nigerian audiences.
  • Experience managing vendor and agency relationships; familiarity with NAFDAC and ARCON requirements for health-related marketing is a strong advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, or Nigerian Pidgin is an advantage.
  • Bonus points for experience in healthcare, digital health, or women’s health, and for having helped launch a new market or brand in Nigeria.

Why This Role:

  • This isn’t maintaining someone else’s playbook it’s building VIYA’s Nigeria consumer experience from zero, with real ownership over strategy, budget, brand, and the community you grow.
  • If you’re entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, and want a front-row seat (and a driving role) in one of West Africa’s most important new health-brand launches, we want to hear from you.

Application Closing Date
26th August, 2026.
