Creative Youths Initiative (Crea8 Africa) is a youth-focused social impact organisation committed to empowering young people through creativity, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and inclusive development. We design and support initiatives that help young people build practical skills, access opportunities, develop sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our work spans youth development, digital and technology skills, entrepreneurship, creative industries, inclusion, advocacy, training and community development. We also explore partnerships with organisations, businesses and institutions to create opportunities that connect young talent with employment, learning and impact. About the Role

  • Crea8 Africa is seeking a passionate and people-focused Community & Programme Officer to support the development of our youth community and the planning and delivery of impactful programmes and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of youth programmes, projects and events.
  • Engage with young people, volunteers, partners and community members.
  • Help build and maintain an active Crea8 Africa community.
  • Coordinate programme activities, communications and follow-ups.
  • Support participant registration, feedback and engagement.
  • Research opportunities, partnerships and resources that can strengthen programmes.
  • Track programme activities, outcomes and impact.
  • Support reports, presentations and other programme documentation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for youth development and community engagement.
  • Good organisation and ability to coordinate multiple activities.
  • Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong research, writing and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in social impact, entrepreneurship, technology or community development.

Commitment:

  • Approximately 5–8 hours per week. Unpaid volunteer position.
