Job Summary:
FAAF is seeking a creative and strategic Communications Officer to lead our external communications, digital storytelling, and public engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, experience managing social media, and the ability to develop content that reflects FAAF’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote FAAF’s work.
- Manage and grow FAAF’s digital presence (social media, website, newsletter).
- Draft press releases, blog posts, and impact stories.
- Coordinate media coverage and maintain media contacts.
- Support content creation for photography, audio, and videography projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong content writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency with social media tools and basic graphic design.
