Care Best Initiative (CBI) is a fast-growing, woman-led, and youth-driven Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2019 and presently operational in states within North-East, Nigeria. Our objectives are to save lives, alleviate the suffering of children, women, and other vulnerable people; and maintain human dignity during and in the aftermath of man-made crises and natural disasters; as well as to prevent and strengthen preparedness for the occurrence of such situations; and to promote the right of children, women and vulnerable people in the society. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: CMAM Provider Volunteer
Location: Borno
Responsibilities
- S/he will be responsible for Nutrition Education at CMAM site.
- Data collection and timely report compilation and submission
- S/he will conduct CMAM activates at the site; screening at site, admission, Record keeping, discharge, distribution and beneficiary review.
- In Liaison with his/her supervisor, s/he will review beneficiary progress and determine cases for referrals, re-admission or Discharge.
- S/he will generate lists for follow-ups and share/discuss with outreach teams for follow-up.
- S/he will be responsible for project beneficiary sensitization and advice on IYCF and RUTF use at CMAM sites.
- Any other Duty as may be required by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Certificate in a health related discipline
- Minimum of 2 year experience in CMAM
- Demonstrate understanding of infant and young Child Nutrition
Other Required Skills:
- Good oral and written communication skills (English, Hausa and Kanuri)
- Excellent team work skills
- Ability to work effectively without supervisor
