Minimum Requirements for CHV/CLEANER:
• The Community Health Volunteer/Cleaner will provide support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of integrated health services.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- CHV/Cleaner with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Health or clinical environment activities are encourage
- Basic knowledge of Community based health promotion, hygiene and infection control activities
- Sound understanding of humanitarian integrated health program delivery in resource
Constraint settings.
- Familiarity with Nigerian public health sector systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
- Borno state indigenes are strongly encouraged to apply especially those from Banki.
- Good at English, Hausa and/or Kanuri languages. Additional language(s), e.g., Shuwa,
Gamargu, etc. will be an advantage.
- Preferably an indigene of and resident in Banki, Bama LGA or Borno State.
- Willingness to live and work in a resource-poor, remote, and insecure environment.
- Good cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent liaison abilities.
