Oxfam in Nigeria, with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is implementing an 8-month project to establish a local but comprehensive integrational approach to bring all members of the community on the path of sustainable growth with the active involvement of the communities concerned and relevant government and non-governmental structures in Michika LGA.
Purpose of the Consultancy
The project ends by the middle of May 2024, and it is important to tell the project’s story from different perspectives and how it has impacted participants and their communities. Hence, the purpose of the consultancy will be to produce videos highlighting components of the project (training of government officials, ward development committees, and community-led action). The videos will highlight the kind of support the participants got, project achievements, and how the project has impacted the lives of natives in various communities. The video will tell the stories of change from the participants’ perspective.
Deliverables
- Inception report containing information on the video concept, people to be interviewed, work plan, timeline and other relevant information.
- Final videos with English subtitles and photos with proper captions.
- High-resolution action pictures of all the interviewees categorized individually in folders, including captions and full names (metadata).
- Produce five thrillers for documentary promotion.
- Produce a 35 to 40-minute video with the approved production script.

Please note that Oxfam will deduct and remit to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) a 5% withholding Tax for freelancers or 10% for firms from the total consultancy fees under the Nigerian Tax Law.
