Role Summary

  • We are seeking a Business Development Lead to drive partnerships, institutional engagements, and revenue growth for Peace Shapers.

This role is not about cold selling. It is about:

  • opening doors,
  • positioning Peace Shapers as a trusted authority,
  • translating our work into clear value for school leaders, and
  • converting interest into structured engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Partnerships

  • Identify and engage private schools, school groups, NGOs, faith-based institutions, and education networks.
  • Build relationships with school proprietors, principals, and administrators.
  • Follow up on proposals, letters, and presentations professionally.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Convert enquiries into paid programmes and consulting engagements.
  • Clearly communicate Peace Shapers’ packages (Entry, Deepening, Transformation).
  • Support pricing conversations and scope engagements appropriately.

Strategy & Market Insight

  • Provide feedback on market resistance, objections, and decision dynamics.
  • Help refine offers based on what schools actually respond to.
  • Track leads, conversions, and pipeline status.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Executive Director on positioning, proposals, and strategy.
  • Occasionally support content ideas that build authority and trust.

Who This Role Is For

  • Someone who understands schools as institutions, not just customers.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers.
  • Patient, strategic, and relationship-oriented.
  • Able to sell systems and long-term value, not quick fixes.

Preferred Background

  • Business development, partnerships, sales, consulting, or institutional relations.
  • Experience in education, NGOs, social enterprises, or professional services is a plus.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
