Jhpiego, an Affiliate of Johns Hopkins University is a global leader in improving healthcare services for women and their families. The TMEC/RISE program is a newly-awarded 5-year, USAID-funded global HIV program that supports countries to achieve and maintain HIV epidemic control through provision of strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to improve prevention, HIV case finding and treatment programming. In Nigeria, TMEC/RISE will support the Government of Nigeria to address barriers in HIV services among at-risk adult men, women and priority populations and to build capacity of local implementing partners, continuously leveraging data to successfully course correct and achieve and maintain epidemic control. This project aims to achieve and maintain the primary prevention and 95-95-95 goals that are critical to HIV epidemic control in Nigeria. The program will also support PEPFAR’s transition of HIV service delivery to local partners, advancing progress along the journey to selfreliance. Jhpiego hereby invites applications from highly resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the following:

Overview:

The TRAC centre team are responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of target-driven, performance tracking and logistic support hub which will be implemented as a patient lifecycle framework for ensuring retention in treatment starting from the point of identification to lifelong virologic suppression

Responsibilities

  • Random tracking of ad hoc teams to get a sense of DAILY performance on case finding, track backs for LTFU and bleeding for VL.
  • Conduct mystery calls to patients who have provided low reviews of quality of services
  • Initiate mystery client visits to facilities and points of services for in-person assessment of receptiveness of staff and quality of counselling session.
  • Conduct mock SIMS assessments for randomly selected facilities
  • Using the Technical Performance Issue Log (being maintained by QI&I Advisor), TRAC Centers will explore and provide deeper contexts to daily morning performance reviews including specific individuals and TEC teams contributing to under-performance or quality gaps
  • Pinpoint where missed opportunities lie for ALL INDICATORS of interest by highlighting specific staff supporting that stream, service or indicator.
  • Support planning and preparation for the RISE Grand Rounds by providing feedback on Points of Interest (POIs) on which the presentations will be chosen.

Any other emergency request as generated by Advisors, QI&I Advisor, and program Leads as well as the COP.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, CHO, CHEW, JCHEW, Psychology, social work, or any related discipline
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS services &/or a PLHIV is an added advantage
  • Possession of an android device (Phone &/tablet) is mandatory • Knowledge of Computer (MS Word/Excel) is also an added advantage.
