About Us
Vision for Inclusive Solutions and Transparency Initiative (VISTA Initiative) is a youth-led humanitarian and development organization dedicated to promoting inclusion, accountability, education, protection, youth empowerment, and sustainable community development. Through innovative and community-driven approaches, VISTA Initiative works with vulnerable populations to create opportunities, strengthen resilience, and improve livelihoods.
As part of our commitment to building the capacity of young professionals, VISTA Initiative invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for vacancies in Maiduguri, Nganzai and Bayo in Borno State.
Location: Maiduguri, Nganzai and Bayo Borno State, Nigeria
Available Positions
- Field Support Assistant
The Field Support Assistant will support the effective coordination, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of organizational activities within the assigned location. The role requires strong field coordination, digital literacy, community engagement, and reporting skills to ensure smooth delivery of project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and coordination of field activities.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring project activities in assigned communities.
- Collect, document, and submit accurate field activity reports.
- Support digital data collection, documentation, and reporting.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders, partners, and field teams.
- Identify field-level challenges and communicate them to supervisors.
- Ensure activities are implemented in line with organizational policies and humanitarian principles.
- Support accountability, safeguarding, and community engagement efforts.
Requirement
Minimum: OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
Preferred: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional training or field experience in humanitarian and development work will be an added advantage.
