C-HID works across key areas including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Food Security and Livelihoods, Health and Nutrition, Protection, Education, Climate Action, Renewable Energy, environmental restoration and other community development interventions.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: MEAL Officer
Location: Gujba, Yobe
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Support routine monitoring of project activities and ensure implementation meets approved standards and targets.
- Collect, review, analyse and maintain accurate programme data and support quality reporting.
- Conduct field monitoring visits and document findings, challenges, lessons learned and recommendations.
- Support accountability mechanisms and follow up community feedback.
- Work with programme teams to identify data-quality issues and support corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health or a related field, with relevant MEAL/monitoring experience.
- Relevant qualifications and experience for the position applied for.
- Good communication, interpersonal, documentation and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability, inclusion and respect for affected communities.
- Ability and willingness to work in challenging field environments.
- Integrity, professionalism and compliance with C-HID policies, Code of Conduct, safeguarding, PSEA, anti-fraud and anti-corruption requirements.
- Knowledge of Gujba and/or Buni Yadi is an advantage.
