The Global Survivors Fund (“GSF”) was launched in October 2019 by Dr Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad, Nobel Peace Prize laureates 2018. Its mission is to enhance access to reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence around the globe, thus responding to a gap long identified by survivors. GSF acts to provide interim reparative measures (IRM) in situations where states or other parties are unable or unwilling to meet their responsibilities. GSF advocates for duty bearers as well as the international community to develop reparations programmes. It also guides states and civil society by providing expertise and technical support for designing reparations programmes. GSF’s survivor-centric approach is the cornerstone of its work.

Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission, in accordance with the Nigerian Law, FRAD work in both humanitarian and development sector to build the resilience of Vulnerable populations through our interventions in thematic areas of WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Education and early recovery and livelihood. Over the years, FRAD has reached more than 19,000 children, men, women and girls through its various interventions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Under the line management of the GSF Country Project Coordinator (Nigeria)/FRAD State Coordination in Nigeria, the Data/FCRM Officer ensures the validity and strengthens the quality and efficiency of all Data Management and Accountability, in accordance with GSF/FRAD’s standards, partner expectations, and FRAD’s ethos of facilitating an evidence-based response.
• In coordination with the FRAD MEAL Team, the Data/FCRM Officer will provide technical inputs at all stages, including secondary data reviews, assessment conceptualization, research design, data cleaning, data analysis, production of information products (inclusive of maps and factsheets), and dissemination of information products, etc.
• S/he will be involved in partner coordination, support donor reporting, presentations, and will be required to provide input to the strategic development of FRAD in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects are appropriately documented with high quality and provide timely reporting.
• Provide regular and timely data for reporting in the programme portal.
• Attend and collect all complaints from beneficiaries, ensure feedbacks are given to beneficiaries in good time.
• Ensure that all stakeholders, including beneficiaries, are aware of the feedback and complaint procedures and that these mechanisms are accessible to all.
• Reviewing and updating relevant AAP standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Review and improve the Accountability channels, mechanisms, procedures, materials and tools with the MEAL/IM and Programmes Teams;
• Document and respond to feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner, in line with FRAD’s policies.
• Ensure feedback and complaints are addressed, followed up, and closed out according to the organization’s standards and timelines.
• Continually aim to improve information sharing and participation with communities, support the design and roll out of innovative methods that increase the engagement and participation of persons of concern and stakeholder at FRAD.
• Supervise the day-to-day functions of the FCRM in the Mission and to ensure the timely entry of all feedback received from beneficiaries/stakeholders into the FCRM database. Ensure that all non-sensitive feedback should be directly referred to the FRA designated colleagues for internal and external follow-up when required. Also, ensure immediate referral of protection related concerns and sensitive feedback according to the FRAD FCRM workflow.

Position requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or any other social science business administration, or banking and finance. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar or related role.
• Gained knowledge / experience in project accounting and usage of financial software.
• Experience with data entry and data management software.
• Excellent computer skills and excellent tech-savvy skills.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and budgets.
• Proficiency level in English and Kanuri, Glavda are added advantages.

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Experience with MS Office programmes including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and others.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise, efficient time management and organizational skills.
