Its youth beneficiaries have initiated over 1, 000 high-impact community change projects across Nigeria. Driven by our vision to be recognized as the premier resource centre for developing dynamic, innovative and principled African leaders who will drive Africa’s realization of its full potential, LEAP has published 11 business and youth themed books which are used as practical case studies, worksheets and tools by practitioners and trainers across Nigeria. LEAP has also converted some of them to ebooks and is creating e-learning curriculum to reach millions across Africa. LEAP Africa has several special projects running in Nigeria. It partnered with the Aspen Institute, Databank Foundation (Ghana) and Technoserve to launch the Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI) West Africa, an initiative that develops a new generation of community-spirited leaders in Ghana and Nigeria. In addition, LEAP, in collaboration with the African Leadership Institute launched the Nigeria 2025 Project, designed to develop a series of scenarios on how Nigeria could evolve in the future. In 2013 it partnered with Dell and Computer Aid International on Powering the Possible Youth Learning Project- to provide computer literacy skills to public secondary school students in Lagos.
