Hope and Rural Aid Foundation (HARAF) is a National Non-Governmental organisation focused on Humanitarian and developmental response program in Nigeria, with thematic areas across CCCM/Sheter-NFIs, Education, Food Security and Livelihood and Protection.
HARAF works with an excited team to deliver on its humanitarian and development efforts while supporting staff professional development.
HARAF is seeking qualified candidates for opportunities at Gombi and Hong LGAs of Adamawa State.
Warehouse Assistant
- Assist in the receipt, storage, and dispatch of humanitarian supplies and materials in warehouse facilities.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements, and distributions.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in packing and labeling of items for distribution, ensuring compliance with distribution plans and protocols.
- Support in loading and unloading of trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Assist in conducting physical inspections and quality checks of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security standards.
Qualifications and Experience for all Positions
• Relevant experience for the different roles and demonstration of capacity to hold the position.
• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or its equivalent preferably with social sciences.
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in conflict affected communities.
• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Fair monitoring and evaluation skills/experience.
• Knowledge of project cycle management.
• Deep knowledge of the environment.
