Role Overview:
- The Volunteer Financial and Tax Officer will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health of CHDFNigeria. You will ensure our financial operations are compliant with relevant regulations and assist in preparing financial statements and tax filings. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in finance, accounting, or taxation who wants to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with Nigerian tax regulations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legal financial obligations, including filing annual returns and audit requirements.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
Key Requirements
- Experience in finance, accounting, or tax management.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and financial compliance.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to commit 5 hours weekly to the role.
