RATIONALE
Gender Base Violence mainstreaming is FRAD set of procedures, measures, and practices to ensure that FRAD and NNGO partners upholds its commitment to prevent, respond to, and protect individuals from harm as a result of gender based violence the commitment involves ensuring prevention of sexual exploitation abuse.
Mainstreaming of GBV is an integral part of the NHF project to provide capacity building to partners especially national NGOs with the skills to mainstream GBV and also refer cases of GBV using the referral pathway.
One of the major feedbacks we received from our Engagement and awareness in the communities we work with is the high rate of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), rape and pedophile practices, and domestic violence. It reveals that “GBV and domestic violence is said to be as a means men use to control women, and forces them not to report or seek help
