E-waste Producer Responsibility Organization of Nigeria (EPRON) is a non profit organization set up by electrical and electronic producers in Nigeria. It is the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) set up to implement the Extended Producer Responsibility policy and ensure the environmentally sound management of electronic waste (e-waste) in Nigeria.

Job Description
- We seek to hire a Technical Manager to support the fulfillment of the aspiration of EPRON’s technical unit, which is to apply circular economy principles to minimize e-waste and ensure the effective implementation of product take back and environmentally sound management of e-waste in Nigeria.
- The technical unit is therefore responsible for developing and coordinating the successful implementation of the e-waste collection across the country and ensuring that the e-waste is recycled according to prescribed regulatory standards.
- Oversee the development and implementation of programs, initiatives and framework requisite for the successful implementation of EPRON’s collection and recycling target as stipulated by the regulatory organizations.
- Oversee and drive the development of technical projects implementation strategy, covering work plans and programs, to ensure alignment with organizational strategy, goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
- An MSc will be an added advantage.
- 5-7 year(s) experience in environmental management.
