We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist
Locations: Sokoto and Kebbi
Reports to: State Program Manager with technical oversight from the Supply Chain Advisor
Job Purpose
- Coordinate state-level commodity availability, logistics data use, inventory controls and supply-chain improvement for integrated services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quantification, resupply, storage, distribution and redistribution processes.
- Review LMIS and stock data; identify stock-out, overstock, expiry and reporting risks.
- Conduct supportive supervision and coach facility/government logistics teams.
- Maintain state commodity dashboards, action trackers and evidence files.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, government and technical teams.
- Support inventory reconciliation, loss prevention and compliance with storage standards.
- Report supply risks and verify corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field; professional registration where applicable.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant health supply-chain experience in government or donor-funded programs.
Core competencies:
- Strong analytical, communication, coaching, stakeholder-engagement and problem-solving skills; ability to use routine data for action and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
