Job Title: Subject Teacher

Location: Osengere, Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
School Section: Secondary Section

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a class
  • Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
  • Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of the students
  • Plan and deliver effective sequences of lessons
  • Identify and teach skills that will develop students’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Identify and teach skills that will develop students’ social independence
  • Lead subject(s) or identified area within the School Improvement Plan and ensure progress is at least Good.
  • Report on Students’ progress

Qualifications and Skills

  • Should possess a minimum of B.ED, B.Sc(Ed), B.A(Ed) or an equivalent degree.
  • NYSCCompletion is Compulsory.
  • P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.
  • Must be fluent in English Language (written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.
  • Must be passionate about Teaching
  • Must be conversant with 21st-century ICT Tools.
  • Must be computer literate, particularly with good proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Must be an excellent team builder and player.
  • Must have a minimum of a year of teaching experience.
