Position: Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBC) Consultant
Experience: 10 years’ experience

Malaria Consortium requires qualified SBC (National) consultant who will coordinate and facilitate the finalization and rollout of a comprehensive SBCC strategy that integrates the NMEP ACSM framework and NPHCDA community engagement strategy.
Specific tasks for consultant
- Revise the draft PMC SBCC strategy and align it with existing national ACSM frameworks and community engagement strategies for malaria and immunization (NMEP and NPHCDA)
- Develop a comprehensive SBCC plan for the PMC-Effect project drawing from the strategy
- Ensure PMC uptake related SBCC messages are aligned with existing overarching SBCC messages for malaria control and immunization and appropriate media for the delivery of the message are selected.
- Disseminate the draft SBCC plan to the key stakeholders and reach consensus
- Roll out implementation of the SBCC plan in Osun state and transit it to the project’s SBCC officer.
- Write and submit the overall report of the assignment

Qualifications and experience:
- Postgraduate degree in mass communication, social sciences and related fields.
- National or regional consultancy expertise with at least 10 years’ experience in developing SBCC plans
- At least 5 years of professional experience in health systems research
- Experience working on similar assignments in the past
- Familiarity with the EPI and malaria programs
- Proven experience in writing reports for public health programs or projects in Nigeria or similar developing country context
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
